How it all
began

It started innocently enough — Tex-Mex on a Sunday at El Tiempo Cantina. Chips, salsa, and just enough conversation to make them both forget how long they'd been sitting there.

The second date was a walk through Memorial Park with Jon's dog — and if we're being honest, that's probably when Christina was sold. There's something about a man with a good dog on a sunny afternoon that makes everything else feel pretty simple. He was delightful, and Jon has never let her forget it.

What followed was two people who genuinely enjoy each other's company — weekends spent exploring the city, a shared love of good food, bad movies, and that dog — until one evening on a beach, Jon got down on one knee and Christina said yes.

After that it was easy. The kind of thing that makes you wonder what took so long. We can't wait to celebrate with you on March 19th.

Aizen

A very important guest

This is Aizen. He won't be at the wedding, but he's part of the reason there is one. He was invited, but couldn't find anything in his size.

About the venue

The Dallas Arboretum & A Tasteful Place

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful settings in the city — 66 acres of gardens, lawns, and views of White Rock Lake. A Tasteful Place is tucked inside the grounds, an elegant indoor-outdoor event space that feels like a garden party done right. If you haven't been to the Arboretum before, you're in for a treat. Come a little early and take a walk around — the gardens in late March are something else.

A few things
you might wonder

Is there an open bar?

Yes. We've got you covered.

Are children welcome?

We've planned this as an adults evening so you can let your hair down and actually enjoy yourselves. We love your little ones — this one's just for the grown-ups. Immediate family is of course an exception, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Can I take photos?

During the reception, absolutely — we'd love to see them. For the ceremony itself we ask that you put phones away and just be present with us. We have a photographer capturing everything.

What time should I arrive?

The Arboretum is open during normal business hours and the ceremony begins at 5:30 PM. We'd suggest arriving by 5:00–5:15 — parking can take a few minutes and we want you settled before we start. If you'd like to walk the gardens beforehand, come even earlier. The Arboretum in late March is worth it.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the grass, so plan accordingly — block heels or stilettos may sink. The reception that follows is indoors and on paved ground, so you'll be comfortable for the rest of the evening.

Do you have a gift registry?

We don't have a registry. Your presence is more than enough — just come ready to celebrate with us.

I have a question that isn't answered here.

Reach out to us directly and we'll get back to you. We'd rather you ask than wonder.
